  • What are the benefits to vinyl wrap?
Vinyl wraps gives you vehicle a unique one-of-a-kind look and protects you paint against fading, scratches, and chips. Vinyl car wraps protect your OEM paint and are 100% removable. Adds to the resell value of your car. When you remove it, your paint is in the same condition as on the day it was wrapped. Thus adding to the resale value by having flawless paint on your car. A repainted car normally decreases the value of your vehicle due to concerns over possible previous accident(s). You can restore the car to its original color by removing the wrap. Warranties and/or lease agreements remain valid. Painting can void warranties and is not a lease option. Cost for a vinyl vehicle wrap is considerably less (nearly half) than a comparable paint job. Many of the styles can not be reproduced by paint. Vinyl car wraps wear as well as, or better than paint – when properly cared for. Think of it like a skin for your laptop or a silicon cover for your phone. The vinyl can take a beating protecting the vehicle’s paint underneath. Vinyl car wraps come in many colors and can have a matte, semi-gloss, gloss, brushed steel, carbon fiber, matte metallic, chrome and even leather-like finishes. Expensive, color-matching paint fees are unnecessary for scratches or accident vehicles; just re-wrap the section that needs repair. It’s difficult to tell it’s not paint. You don’t have to wrap your entire car; you can just do your hood, roof, mirrors, stripes, etc. Matte-paint jobs can be brittle and chip easily, while vinyls are more durable and harder to scratch. In the event that repairs are needed, the part that was damaged can be easily replaced, providing a perfect match. Hides scratches, small chips and “freshens” the look of your vehicle.
  • What are the benefits to ceramic coating?
Protects Your Paint Every time you drive your car, you’re exposing the paint to various contaminants that can cause damage. Ceramic coating provides a strong, protective surface on your car’s body that works to block all foreign matter from causing damage to your car. It can withstand a significant amount of damage without showing any visible effects on your car, such as fading, oxidation, and chemical staining. Ceramic coating can also protect your car from harmful UV rays, which can lead to oxidation. This is especially helpful if you park your car outside. Keeps Your Car Cleaner With the hard surface that ceramic coating provides, any dirt or debris just rolls off the surface, rather than getting stuck within the tiny pockets of your vehicle’s body. This means that your car stays cleaner and even when it does need a wash, getting all that dirt off takes so much less time than it normally would! Lasts Longer Than Other Paint Protection Methods Traditional paint coatings such as wax wear off much faster than ceramic coatings. When you choose a ceramic coating from @ The Car Wash, you can expect it to last for years, without wearing off after being exposed to weather, components of the atmosphere, bird droppings, or other possible contaminants. Cost Effective One of the best parts about ceramic coating is that it’s a very cost effective option for vehicle owners. While the investment may be a bit larger up front, it will cost you less in the long-run because you won’t have to spend as much money on things like wax, car washes, and other exterior detailing services. Depending on the type of ceramic coating you get, it is an essentially permanent solution, so you won’t have to worry about continuing to replace it year after year! Looks Great Who doesn’t love the look of a shiny new car? With ceramic coating, not only is your vehicle’s surface protected, but the fresh coating leaves a beautiful, candy-like gloss for all to admire. It will bring the best out of your original paint job, restoring your car’s look to when you drove it for the first time!

  • How do I remove the wrap?
We highly recommend bringing your car back to Rodwraps to have the wrap removed by our expert technicians.
  • How do I best take care of my car after?
Wash your wrap once a week or more often if your vehicle is exposed to a lot of dirt or pollutants. You can bring your wrapped vehicle to an automated brushless car wash, though hand washing is safer and more thorough. Brush car washes may be too rough on the film, degrading it and causing peeling and lifted edges. If a car wash uses water spray and no brushes, it should be safe for most wraps. Clean bird droppings and difficult stains immediately. Letting them sit for too long will make them harder to remove and may permanently damage the wrap. Soak the affected area for a few minutes with warm, soapy water to loosen the contaminants. Rinse completely and dry with a microfiber cloth. For stubborn contaminants, use denatured alcohol, 3M® Citrus Base Cleaner, Meguiar’s Gold Class™ Bug and Stain Remover or two parts isopropyl alcohol to one part water. Always test these solutions on a small area that’s not easily noticeable to ensure the cleaner will not harm the wrap. Do not use solvents or oil based cleaning products! Excessive amounts of time under the sun or other outdoor elements (rain, smog, debris, and road pollutants from passing cars) can degrade the wrap on the roof, trunk lid and hood. These horizontal areas are a magnet for pollutants, which are intensified by UV ray exposure. Try your best to park your car in a garage or under a canopy or shelter. If you must park it outside for prolonged periods, look for shady parking areas.
